Mr. Thompson has served as a director of the Company since 1996. From 1975 until his retirement in 1996, Mr. Thompson held the positon of senior vice president and director of world marketing of Motorola Semiconductor products. Mr. Thompson joined Motorola in 1971. Previously, Mr. Thompson spent 18 years with General Electric Company in a variety of computer and data processing positions.
